Canopy Tour Q&A
Which is the best hour / season for touring?
On High Season (December-April), the Canopy Tour can be done almost anytime during the day. On Green Season (May-November), though, we recommend to make the tour in the morning, as afternoons usually get rainy. Even so (and if rain doesn't bother you) the Canopy tour continues operating unless there is risk of electrical thunderstorms.
How long does it take?
The average Canopy Tour may take from 2 - 2.5 hours, depending on group size.
How do I book a SkyWay Tour?
This and all of our Villa Lapas tours can be booked at the Front Desk upon your arrival.
What should/shouldn't I bring along for the Tour?
Actually the only thing you need is your camera. You may carry along a small backpack or pouch, but in a way that leaves both hands free for security reasons.
What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable clothing for the tour. Most of our clients do the tour in shorts, T-shirt and running shoes. Long pants are fine, but skirts or dresses are not. Bug repellent and / or sunblock are also recommended however we suggest these to be applied prior to starting the tour rather than carrying them along. Closed-toe shoes are recommended however strap-on sandals are acceptable. You may not do the tour in bare feet. During Green Season (May -November) lightweight rain gear is recommended.
How safe is it?
All of the Canopy Tour structure is constantly supervised under international safety standards.
